Our restaurant was named after colonel Jochann Makár who lived in the region at the end of the 17th century. He was known for liberating the town from Turks in 1696. The hill above us has kept his name till today, it is called Makár-slope.
Our restaurant consists of more sections, but its kitchen and staff are the same. We offer you characteristic of us popular meals of the local Hungarian and international cuisine. On our drinks list you can find in the first place the different types of the famous red wine of Villány wine-growing region, the beer-palette of Brau Unión, 100% pure fruit juices and Theodora mineral water sought-after by the athletes .

RESTAURANT, CONFERENCE HALL

The postmodern-style, nicely furnished hall with a wooden cupola, air-conditioning and bar counter can provide meetings with buffet meals or hot food and dance programmes for 150 people at the same time. The hall is especially suited to arrange wedding celebrations, receptions and parties. The atmosphere of dance programmes can be heightened with the help of a built-in lighting equipment. In case of receptions the hall holds 200 people. The furniture and ground-plan of the two-section hall that can be converted into one make it suitable for holding meetings and conferences. It is equipped with a TV set, video, HI-FI, DVD, flipchart, Internet access and a screen.

TAVERN
	It was built in 1916 - having rebuilt the period-episcopal two-storey wine-cellar with raw brick arch and the vineyardist house, it reached its recent form at its opening in 1995. The tavern furnished faithfully with boxes of 6-8 provides room for 70 altogether. Upstairs darts can be played and downstairs there are two automatic bowling alleys operated.

GRANDSTAND - TERRACE
	A shaded terrace overgrown with plants and flowers with a capacity of 100 people is attached to the conference hall, the garden and the playground. In summer when the weather is good well-known tennis players hold spectacular demonstration matches and trainings with the serving machine in the course of grill-evenings. A separated toilets for both sexes is also attached to the terrace.
